Toyota readying Innova facelift
Faclifted Innova features a large chrome grille and a re-designed bumper; minor changes to the rear as well. Updated interiors expected too.
These are the first spy images of the facelifted Toyota Innova spotted in Indonesia.
From the images, it’s evident that the facelifted Innova gets a large chrome grille with three vertical slats. The bumper is also all-new and incorporates a new design for the air-dam, fog lamps and a chrome strip surrounding the fog lamp enclosure.
The rear receives minor changes in the form of a thick strip of chrome above the number plate, while an extra set of reflectors are incorporated on either side too. There is no report on whether the interiors get any updates yet, but expect them to receive subtle revisions as well.
This is the third update the Innova has received since its launch in 2005 here. The first was a mild update to the lights and bumpers in early 2009, and then the current facelifted version, which was launched in 2011.
The facelifted Innova is likely to be shown at the 2013 Indonesia International motor show, which takes place from September 19.

Toyota has given the Tundra a few updates for the 2011 model year. The Tundra is available in Regular, Double and CrewMax models.
Toyota has announced several mechanical and feature changes for the 2011 Toyota Tundra light-duty pickup truck.The 4.0-liter V-6 makes 270 horsepower and 278 pounds-feet of torque, up 34 hp and 12 pounds-feet from the 2006-2010 Tundra.
To help improve towing safety, trailer-sway control programming and brake override technology have been added as standard equipment. A trailer brake controller allows the driver to control the amount of gain (brake boost) applied to the trailers electric brakes when the driver applies the vehicles brakes.
Toyota also has electronic brake-force distribution, which adjusts braking pressure according to cargo load.
The full-size Toyota Tundra pickup truck roared onto the automotive scene for the 2000 model year, and immediately carved out a niche in a segment perennially dominated by American automakers. While two-wheel drive comes standard, four-wheel drive is available on the bigger engines. The Tundra again comes in a choice of three engines, 2-wheel or 4-wheel drive, 5-speed or 6-speed automatic transmission, and it comes in regular cab, Double Cab (5.5 ft bed), or CrewMax (6.5 or 8 ft bed). Toyota does not sell manual transmissions on the Tundra, so it is not even available as an option.

Hyundai I30 Plug in Hybrid Toyota Prius Ready to Challenge
Although there is still no information about the detailed specifications of the car, or where the car hatchback is offered, but obviously if the Hyundai I30 plug in hybrid is ready to threaten Toyota Prius Plug in version 2012.

Toyota Recall Thousands of Cars For Air Bag
Toyota plans to withdraw almost 730.000 vehicle in United States and Canada to fix (Recall) due to a problem in the drivers airbag and a switch that can cause the vehicles could not be turned on.
Toyota said it had learned of the accident injury caused by both of these conditions.
Recall due to damage to the cable affects the United States truck Tacoma 495.000 and 17.178 in Canada with a model year 2005 to 2009. "Due to the combination of the spiral cable design steering wheel and unique characteristics of the chassis to Tacoma, friction between the spiral cable and anchoring in the spiral cable steering wheel may occur in several vehicles," Toyota said in a statement, Wednesday (7/3).
"Friction from time to time may result in a loss of connectivity to the drivers airbag module. If connectivity is lost, the airbag warning light on the instrument panel will stay lit after the vehicle is turned on and the drivers air bag may not be active, blocking the inflating airbag when an accident. "Says automotive corporate Spokesman.
The withdrawal because of a stop lamp (brake/stop lights) affect 70.500 car Camry and 116,000-Venza in the United States along with vehicle Camry and 2,379 Venza 27.737 with model year 2009 to 2011.
Toyota said it in the process to obtain the spare parts needed and will notify owners when spare parts are available. Repairs will be performed at no cost.

Lentz Toyota Didnt Live Up To The High Standards Our Customers Expect
